The following principles apply to all photographs and still images by Tom Wolt and Pathfinder Studios:

  • No Transfer of Rights: Visiting this website or viewing images does not transfer any usage rights.
  • No Use for AI Training: It is strictly forbidden to use the images, videos, or texts on this website for the purpose of training artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, or similar algorithmic systems.

3. How to Acquire a Licence

We appreciate your interest in our work and offer commercial and editorial licences for almost every image. To acquire a licence for one or more images, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send us an inquiry via our Contact Page.
  2. Specify Your Request: To process your request quickly, please provide the following information:
    • A screenshot of or link to the desired image(s).
    • A detailed description of the intended use (e.g., website header, social media campaign, print magazine, etc.).
    • The planned period and geographical area of use.
    • The approximate circulation or reach of the medium.

We will promptly get back to you with a licensing offer tailored to your needs.

We consistently enforce our copyrights. Any unauthorised use of our images will be prosecuted. In the event of a copyright infringement, we will, without further warning:

  • Demand Damages: We will invoice a retroactive licence fee. The amount of this fee is based on standard market rates, such as the picture fees of the Mittelstandsgemeinschaft Foto-Marketing (MFM).
  • Assert Claims for Injunctive Relief: We will demand that you immediately cease the use and sign a cease-and-desist declaration with a penalty clause.
  • Demand Reimbursement of Legal Costs: You will be obligated to bear the full costs of our legal action.

We strongly recommend pursuing the legal path of acquiring a licence. It is fairer and ultimately more cost-effective for all parties involved.
