YOUR RECRUITMENT FILM HAS TO SHOW MORE THAN JUST THE OFFICE
Recruitment films from other agencies
❌ Slick facade instead of culture: The film looks good but feels impersonal and interchangeable. An expensive film that doesn’t attract the talent that really fits you.
❌ HR and creative with no connection: Strategy and film production are kept apart. The result is films that miss the company’s true values and culture.
❌ No recruiting expertise: Great film ideas without an understanding of the job market lead to films that miss the talent audience.

How you win over skilled professionals
In the “war for talents”, a strategic recruitment film is your strongest weapon. Our films are built to generate measurable results for your HR team – from applicant quality to strengthening your employer brand.
APPLICANT QUALITY
A recruitment film acts as a filter. It shows potential applicants a realistic picture and thus specifically attracts the talent that truly fits you culturally and professionally. The result: more applications from exactly the people you really need.
Employer Branding
Position yourself as a top employer. A recruitment film is the best way to show your company culture, your values and the people behind them authentically and thus build an emotional connection with potential candidates.
EFFICIENCY IN RECRUITING
A convincing film answers many questions before they’re asked. Applicants are better informed and more motivated. That shortens the hiring process, lowers the cost per hire and relieves your HR team.
OUR PLAN FOR YOUR CONVINCING RECRUITMENT FILM
A successful recruitment film leaves nothing to chance. Our proven process makes sure we not only fulfil your vision but create a film that wins top talent for you.

So you can look this knowledge up again and again and pass it on to colleagues and decision-makers, we’ve put together everything worth knowing about the recruitment film, along with illustrative examples, in our free handbook for instant download.
What is a recruitment video?
A recruitment video is a film produced as part of the HR marketing strategy for employer-branding purposes, to appeal to applicants and potential employees.
The goal is to position yourself as an attractive employer with a recruitment video. To do this, a recruitment film shows the company, the colleagues, the workplace and the tasks of the advertised position.
By the way: recruitment video or recruitment film? Both terms are correct and common, but as with all corporate films the term “video” tends to imply shorter, lower-quality films, so as a film production we prefer the term “recruitment film”. The choice, however, is entirely yours.
What benefit and advantages does a recruitment film have?
A recruitment film is a highly effective video marketing tool for any form of HR marketing, recruiting and employer branding. Recruitment videos are a sub-genre of corporate films, but are aimed specifically at applicants and potential employees.
Recruitment films can be produced both as an overall overview of the company as an employer and for each individual position or professional group. The latter is particularly useful when a company is looking for different specialists with very different fields of work and requirements, e.g. staff for marketing, IT, production and logistics – four different areas within the same company.
In addition, labour-market campaign films fall into the recruitment film category, for example initiatives of the employment agency, or job boards, etc.
Like any kind of corporate film, the recruitment film is so successful because it engages the three decisive senses – seeing, hearing, feeling – and can therefore store information better in the brain.
Recruitment video facts
Recruitment films are usually 1–7 minutes long and typically cost between €3,000 and €30,000.
Websites with video get 41% more traffic.
Job ads on Facebook have 135% higher organic reach and achieve higher interaction rates.
Viewers retain 95% of a message from video, but only 10% from text.
90% of customers find videos helpful in the decision-making process.
81% of companies already have a film.
53% of marketers worldwide see the highest ROI in video marketing.
Which companies is a recruitment video suitable for?
Recruitment videos are suitable for any company with an active need for staff. Recruitment videos can be produced either once, globally (then more as a standalone recruitment film), or as part of ongoing HR marketing.
Recruitment films are particularly well suited to industries with a high demand for skilled workers, where the employer has to position itself attractively and prevail against other companies.
For smaller companies where recruitment plays a minor role, a corporate film that also appeals to applicants in a short section may be more suitable.
Where can you use a recruitment video?
The best place to use a recruitment film is your own website. If you have a jobs page or even your own careers portal, your recruitment film definitely belongs there. If different positions are advertised, the individual recruitment videos can be placed on the respective job posting pages.
The second major place to use recruitment videos is job boards, job portals and career networks. Store the recruitment film in your employer profile and refer to it in your job postings.
Of course, a recruitment video can also be embedded on classic social media profiles. And job fairs, applicant days and career events are a good platform too.
Some companies also use their recruitment film at company events such as anniversaries or an open day, although for this we’d rather recommend a corporate film or event film.
Examples of good recruitment films
On this page you’ll already find examples of successful recruitment videos. You’ll find more examples in our free handbook.
Bear in mind, too, that every company and every goal is different, so no two recruitment films are alike.
You can also find some recruitment videos online, for example on the YouTube channels or employer branding pages of large corporations.
What recruitment video costs should you expect?
The question of how much a recruitment film costs unfortunately can’t be answered across the board. Every recruitment film is tailored and produced individually to the specific company and goal and the applicant group to be addressed.
To help you set a budget, we recommend planning a price range between €3,000 and €30,000 for recruitment films. If you plan several recruitment videos for individual professions as part of a series production, the individual cost per film can even be lower.
The cost of a recruitment film is made up, by the way, of pre-production (concept, script, storyboard), the shoot (fees for the film crew and equipment (possibly also for professional talent) multiplied by the number of shooting days (usually 1–5 shooting days are needed for a recruitment film)) and post-production (editing, audio and possibly animation).
Most film productions bill by day rates. Flat rates and “fixed prices” are rather unusual and should be examined more closely.
